libenet7 software package provides thin network communication layer on top of UDP, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libenet7
libenet7 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libenet7 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libenet7 *
You will get with libenet7 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
